BHS b-ballers suffer home debut disappointments

A stumble at the start.

Both the girls and boys varsity basketball teams suffered losses in their first home game of the season Friday, Dec. 6, a disappointing doubleheader against the visitors from Bishop Blanchet.

First, the girls found themselves on the wrong end of a 57-45 score, a loss which dropped their overall season record to 0-2.

Then, it was a matter of one point.

Just a single point made the difference for the boys, who lost 45-44 to Blanchet, evening their overall season record to 1-all.
