Bainbridge High announces football schedule

The Bainbridge High School varsity football team’s schedule will once again kick off with an away game against North Kitsap High, according to the recently finalized official schedule.

BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge High School varsity football team’s schedule will once again kick off with an away game against North Kitsap High, according to the recently finalized official schedule.

This year’s squad will play eight regular season games, including one special tailgate night and the traditional homecoming celebration as well.

The Friday Night Lights will first shine for the Spartan gridders on Sept. 2 against the vikings, followed by home opener a week later on Sept. 9 against Olympic (a tailgate event is planned for the Spartans’ first home game at Memorial Stadium).

The third game is a long road trip to Vikings Way Christian in Vancouver, Washington on Sept. 16.

Bainbridge next plays Lakeside, at Ingraham High, on Sept. 23.

The Spartans return to the Rock for a Sept. 30 against Bishop Blanchet.

Homecoming is set for Oct. 7, and a date with O’Dea.

The following game, also at home, features Seattle Prep on Oct. 14.

The regular season comes to a close on Oct. 21, with BHS at Eastside Catholic.
