Bainbridge has early test against Cougars in varsity volleyball

The Cougars scratched out a tough win in girls varsity volleyball Tuesday against the Bainbridge Spartans in the non-league opener for both teams.

SILVERDALE – The Cougars scratched out a tough win in girls varsity volleyball Tuesday against the Bainbridge Spartans in the non-league opener for both teams.

Central Kitsap won on its home court but the Spartans didn’t make it easy, 25-22, 25-20 and 29-27.

Hannah Wagner had 14 kills for the Spartans, while Emilia Dronkert finished with 20 assists. Sage Walter contributed five kills for Bainbridge.
