SEATTLE – The Spartans soared to a 64-28 win against Franklin High Friday, Dec. 9, earning the island team their second win of the year and an overall record of 2-3 (1-2 in conference).

Rainier Beach and West Seattle are tied for the top Metro spot, both with 3-0 conference records. Bainbridge is ranked in fourth place.

Olivia Wikstrom led the scoring efforts against Franklin, finishing the night with 12 points.

Marianne Milander managed 11, and Taylor Tye put up 10.
