Nancy Burrows Wooldridge passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at the age of 85. She spent her last few years in Bend, Oregon, surrounded by her sons, but spent most of the last forty years on Bainbridge Island raising her children, supporting the arts, gardening, reading, writing, playing tennis, inspiring and contributing to the joy of her friends.

Nancy was born on May 29, 1935, in San Mateo County, California. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington and fell in love with the Pacific Northwest. Many years later, she returned with her husband, Norm, and four boys to live; first on Mercer Island, and then on Bainbridge.
