Marilyn A. Steinberg, age 72

Marilyn A. Steinberg died Aug. 3 at The Messenger House. She was 72.

Marilyn was born July 11, 1938 in Denver, Colo.

She was proud to be a nurse for many years and worked as a home health nurse. She was proud to be a loving mother and grandmother.

Marilyn was a compassionate person, available to assist those in a time of need. She loved to travel, reading and art. She worked with children at bible study.

She is survived by her son Larry Rucker and his wife Angie of Gig Harbor; grandchildren Tina, Kyle and Kristy Rucker; and sister Carol Alger.

She was preceded in death by her son Richard Rucker.
