Lavern ‘Third’ Tom III

Lavern “Third” Tom III died Jan. 15 at his home in Kingston.

He was born April 3, 1985, in Toppenish, to Lavern Tom, Jr. and Tracy Clarke. He was raised by his father and step mother Leanne Tom.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Lavern Tom Senior and his aunt Tawyna Tom.

He is survived by his daughter Joanne; father Lavern; mother Leanne; brother Joe; sisters Ramona, Kiara, and LaVonne; and many other uncles, aunties and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Jan. 20 at the Port Gamble Tribal Gym in Kingston. Interment will be at the tribal cemetery. A reception will follow. Memorial donations can be made to assist his daughter and instructions will be posted at the funeral home’s obituary website under his name.
