Jane E. Bickler of Suquamish died June 29, in Suquamish. She was 85.

Bickler was born to Godfred and Myrtle Clarberg in Seattle on June 9, 1919. She graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle in 1936.

She married Peter Bickler on Aug. 23, 1942 in Seattle. She was a housewife who enjoyed reading, traveling and spending time with family. Her husband built the home in which she lived until her death.

Bickler is survived by her daughter JoAnn (Stan) Baker of Rolling Bay and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Peter Bickler, parents Godfred and Myrtle Clarberg, son Paul Bickler and brother Jack Clarberg.
