Hannah Vail McNutt, age 16 months

      Hannah Vail McNutt, died March 21 in her parents’ arms at home in Seattle after struggling with neural degeneration and epilepsy throughout her short life.

      Hannah was born Nov. 4, 2010, the daughter of Greg McNutt and Allyson Brown of Bainbridge Island and Seattle. Hannah loved watching her brother Wes (6), and she enjoyed listening to music, cuddling with soft toys and being held close by her parents and grandparents. She was loved by all who met her, and will be greatly missed.

      The family is grateful to the love and support of the entire care team, including Providence Hospice Stepping Stones, Seattle Children’s, the Seattle Fire Department and Medic One, Airlift Northwest, Ballard Pediatrics, the Bainbridge Island Fire Department and Bainbridge Island Pediatrics.

      Hannah is survived by her parents Greg McNutt and Allyson Brown; big brother Wes; grandparents Anne and Greg Brown of Bremerton; Marilyn McNutt of Salem, Ore.; and all of her loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
