Longtime Bainbridge resident Carleton Max Wells, age 71, died Oct. 9.

He was born May 16, 1931 in Seattle.

A celebration of his life will be held 3:30 p.m. Oct. 13 at Christ the King Church, N. 117th and Dayton Ave. N. in Seattle, followed by a reception at the Seattle Golf Club.
