Auntie Earlma Martin

Auntie Earlma Martin died peacefully at her home in Suquamish on Feb. 14.

She was born in Comanche, Okla. and raised across the Red River in Burkburnett, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mabel Strickland; brothers Glynn and William Strickland; and her only nephew Billy Strickland.

She is survived by three nieces and her sister-in-law, Cheryl (Leroy) Cooper of San Leandro, Calif., Cindy (Terry) Ellis of Suquamish, and Glenda Medeiros and Leona Strickland, who were her caregivers here in Suquamish; 9 great nieces and nephews; and 15 great-great nieces and nephews.
