The Virginia Mason Winslow Clinic has begun receiving doses of the H1N1 vaccine. Virginia Mason spokeswoman Alisha Mark said the Winslow Clinic has 100 injectable doses, 20 of which are preservative free. The clinic also has 300 doses of the nasal vaccine.

Mark said the clinic anticipates receiving more doses each week.

The doses are budgeted primarily for high-risk patients, which are people between the ages of six months and 24 years old, pregnant women and anyone with a chronic medical condition, Mark said.

The clinic will be distributing the shots on a first-come first-serve basis, and they are available during flu clinics, which run Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Tuesday and Thursday between 1-5 p.m.

A phone call to the Doctors Clinic to inquire about the availability of the vaccine was not immediately returned Wednesday.
