Rain, rain, rain.
But Bainbridge Island may get a break — in the rainclouds, that is — later this weekend.
That’s the most recent forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
Weather watchers are predicting that Friday’s rain will be followed by a wet Saturday. Patience, people: The skies may open up for some sunshine on Sunday.
Forecasters say there’s a 40 percent chance of showers Saturday, mostly after 11 a.m. It will stay mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 65 degrees.
Skies will stay mostly cloudy overnight, with the thermometer dipping to a low around 46.
Come Sunday, it should be partly sunny, with a high near 68.
The clouds will return by nightfall, and the temperature is expected to fall to a low around 48.
Going into next week, showers are expected Monday and Tuesday before things start to clear up, with sunny weather coming late in the week.
