Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect an estimated two-hour wait at the Bainbridge terminal for a boat to Seattle.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect an estimated two-hour wait at the Bainbridge terminal for a boat to Seattle.

The delay is due to heavy traffic, and was issued just after 12:30 p.m. Sunday, July 5.

Ferry traffic had backed up on Highway 305 to Sportsman Club Road just before 1:30 p.m.

The Washington State Patrol is directing traffic at the High School Road and Winslow Way intersections on Highway 305.
