Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavier than usual foot traffic from Bainbridge Island on Wednesday, Sept. 3 and Thursday, Sept. 4 due to Seahawks season opener events at CenturyLink Field.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to expect heavier than usual foot traffic from Bainbridge Island on Wednesday, Sept. 3 and Thursday, Sept. 4 due to Seahawks season opener events at CenturyLink Field.

On Wednesday, Sept. 3, events occur from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

On Thursday, Sept. 4, gates open at 2:30 p.m. for a free public concert followed by the 5:30 p.m. game against the Green Bay Packers.

WSF is encouraging passengers to pre-purchase their return ferry tickets online or at a kiosk.
