Washington State Ferries is advising travelers who use the ferry terminal at Colman Dock to get ready for changes in access that will start early next week.

Beginning Monday, Jan. 12, access to Colman Dock via Alaskan Way will change. The ferry holding lanes in front of Colman Dock between Madison Street and Yesler Way will be closed and travelers will access Colman Dock directly from either northbound or southbound Alaskan Way at Yesler Way.

WSF said the changes are needed to allow for shifting work zones for two major construction projects – the Highway 99 Tunnel and Elliott Bay Seawall.
