Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to plan ahead for heavy ferry traffic Thanksgiving weekend.

Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route to plan ahead for heavy ferry traffic Thanksgiving weekend.

According to WSF, the longest lines are expected westbound in the afternoon and evening Wednesday, Nov. 26, and eastbound Friday morning, Nov. 28.

The Bainbridge-Seattle route will be on a holiday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 27. For schedule details and wait times, check the WSF website at http://www.wsdot.com/ferries/schedule/.
