Trees falling into power lines also prompted several road closures on the island Tuesday afternoon.

The Bainbridge Island Fire Department said Bucklin Hill Road between Lynwood Center Road and Fletcher Bay Road was closed just after 3:30 p.m. due to a fallen tree in the power lines.

The department also reported on its Facebook page that North Madison Avenue is closed because of a toppled tree between Valley and Lovgreen roads. Henderson Road is also closed between Ralston and Seabold roads.
