Julie Tamanini was awarded a bachelor of arts degree from Earlham College during commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 11, 2013.

Tamanini majored in biology at Earlham. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and received college and departmental honors. She also received the Millard S. Markle Award in biology.

The graduate is the daughter of Beverly Tamanini and Michael Davock of Bainbridge Island.
