All women are invited to Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views to hear Tom Challinor, the former director of the Bainbridge Performing Arts Shakespeare Society, trace the development of our common tongue at the SWERV meeting next week.

He will speak on “History of English from the Anglo-Saxons to Shakespeare.”

This is the second time the retired high school English and history teacher, coach and drama director has talked at SWERV. His expertise and dynamic presentation style make him a natural for an encore performance.

SWERV meets from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday, May 10 at Filipino American Hall, 7566 High School Road.
