SWERV looks at 3D printers

All women are invited to attend Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 to hear hobbyist Stan Stumbo share his passion for 3D printers.

The topic is “3D Printers: What are they and what are they good for?”

Stumbo, a Naval Academy graduate and retired chief naval architect for the Washington State Ferries, will cover what 3D printers are and how he got into owning and using one. He will provide examples of what you can do with such a device, and he will also bring his printer to make an object during his presentation.

SWERV meets at Filipino American Hall, 7566 High School Road.
