Spartan golfers remain undefeated with win over Blanchet

WING POINT — It was a big week for Spartan golf with both the boys and girls teams continuing their undefeated streaks by scoring critical wins against Bishop Blanchet at the par-35 course at Wing Point on Thursday, Sept. 26.

WING POINT — It was a big week for Spartan golf with both the boys and girls teams continuing their undefeated streaks by scoring critical wins against Bishop Blanchet at the par-35 course at Wing Point on Thursday, Sept. 26.

“It’s a big win for us,” said Tom Zuzelski, head coach of the Spartans boys team.

The final score for the boys team was 149-137 Bainbridge.

Sam Warkentin, Andy Jonson and Nate Boegl all scored 26 points for the Spartans.

TJ Gilbrough and Cameron Cooper paced the Braves with 26 points each.

The girls brought home the victory with a final score of 78-76.

The wins pushed both teams to 4-0 for the season.
