Tickets are now on sale for the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum’s fifth annual “Save Our History” raffle.

The raffle is the historical museum’s biggest fundraiser. Together with individual and corporate memberships, the raffle enables the museum to preserve and share the wonderful history of Bainbridge Island.

The first prize is cash, as much as $5,000. The winner will get 20 percent of the amount that comes in from tickets sold.

Last year’s first-place winner, islander Dave Ullin, pocketed $4,556.

This year’s second prize is a Dell laptop computer valued at $665. Third prize is the brand new Microsoft Xbox One.

The raffle drawing is Dec. 16, just in time for the holidays.

Raffle tickets are $10 each, or three for $25, and are available from museum board members and volunteers who will be selling tickets around Bainbridge. Tickets are also for sale at the museum at 215 Ericksen Ave.; by phone at 206-842-2773; or online at www.bainbridgehistory.org/events.aspx.

All raffle tickets are good for free admission to the museum.
