Robert E. James passed away on Nov. 6, 2015 at the age of 62.

Known to the world as Bob, he was an avid inventor, thinker, and engineer with a love of both technology and nature in equal parts.

He worked for The Boeing Company from 2001 and previously for the University of Washington. His work ethic was was thought of well throughout his positions, and many of his contributions still fly above us.

Robert is survived by his sons Alex and Silas James, his sister Margie Mattix, his father’s partner Sharon James, and his girlfriend Clara Hansen.
