Robert (Bob) Charles Callaham, born March 28, 1957 to Edward and Priscilla Callaham at Travis Air Force Base in California, passed away June 12, 2014.

Bob grew up on Bainbridge Island and attend Bainbridge Island Schools. He began work at Lockheed Shipyard in Seattle with his dad until it closed. He then went to work at Puget Sound Navel Shipyard as a Department of Defense inspector until he retired in April 2014.

Bob was a devoted USSSA Softball Umpire. He was voted Softball Umpire of the Year several times. He was inducted into the USSSA Washington State Hall of Fame. Another love he had was traveling and racing drag cars with his son Shawn.

He is survived by his mother, Priscilla Callaham; daughter Jamie (Austin) Hinderer; son, Shawn; sister Debbie (John) Dohaniuk, and their children Christopher and Trenton; longtime friend and companion Christi Gregory; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his dad Edward and his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Bob’s life at the Poulsbo Sons of Norway at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 22.
