Vicci Martinez’s voice has earned her much praise, including the third place prize on the first season of the hit TV show “The Voice.”
The Tacoma-based singer received quite a few paws up when she took her voice to Bainbridge Island’s Manor House at Pleasant Beach on Sunday, Feb. 10.
Accompanied by keyboardist Eric Roberts, Martinez played to a sold-out house of nearly 100 islanders to benefit PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap.
The audience put forth donations and bid in a silent auction. Martinez also posed for photos with fans and autographed her recently-released album “Vicci” that includes the hit single “Come Along” featuring Cee Lo Green.
The concert raised more than $5,000 for PAWS.
PAWS can put the money to good use.
The cat adoption center is moving its operations into a brand-new facility on Pleasant Beach and to another location in Kingston.
