More than 1,230 without electricity on Bainbridge

Approximately 1,230 Puget Sound Energy customers lost power during an outage that was reported just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday night near Point White Drive NE.

Approximately 1,230 Puget Sound Energy customers lost power during an outage that was reported just before 9:30 p.m. Thursday night near Point White Drive NE.

The cause of the outage is under investigation and a crew was dispatched to the area, according to PSE.

Other scattered but smaller outages were also reported across the island Thursday night near Battle Point, Manitou Beach and Day Road.

A high wind warning will remain in effect until 4 a.m. Friday for the Puget Sound, according to the National Weather Service office in Seattle.
