Kitsap Transit will host a community meeting 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18 to discuss cross-Sound passenger-only ferry service.

Currently, Bainbridge is the only city with 30 minute access to downtown Seattle. The proposed measure, which will be on the Nov. 8 ballot, would add fast ferry service from Bremerton, Kingston and Southworth if passed.

The meeting will take place in the main conference room of the Bainbridge Public Library. Kitsap Transit Executive Director John Clauson will give a brief presentation before taking questions from the audience.
