Islanders earn honors at Ohio Wesleyan University

Two students from Bainbridge Island have been recognized for outstanding academic accomplishment at Ohio Wesleyan University.

Kelly Coffyn and Savannah Travis have been named to the 2017 fall semester dean’s list at Ohio Wesleyan University.

To qualify for dean’s list recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes.

Ohio Wesleyan University was founded in 1842 and is one of the nation’s premier liberal arts universities. Located in Delaware, Ohio, the private university offers more than 90 undergraduate majors and competes in 23 NCAA Division III varsity sports.

Wesleyan is featured in the book “Colleges That Change Lives” and included in the U.S. News & World Report and Princeton Review “best colleges” lists.
