Will Whitesmith and Barb McAllister will share their experience with walking both the French and Spanish Camino in a special presentation organized by the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District at 3 p.m. Sunday Jan. 25 at Island Center Hall (8395 Fletcher Bay Road NE).

They will discuss the challenges they faced, the insights and lessons they learned, the history and culture of the Camino and the people they met.

If you have wondered what it would be like to be a pilgrim with a pack, or whether you could do this adventure, please come. They will show you that it is entirely possible to prepare in such a way that you can actually do it.

For more information about their Camino journey go to Whitesmith’s blog at myheartsmith.com.

This is a free event and open to the public.
