Dave Carley, Margaret Lily Celestino and Dave McNeil have joined the Housing Resources Board as new directors.
Carley has been involved in construction for 26 years and moved to Bainbridge Island from Seattle in 1993.
“I realize the first-hand difficulties that people face in finding affordable living situations here on the island and I am excited to have the opportunity to become more involved with HRB helping to create solutions,” Carley said.
Celestino moved to Bainbridge Island in 2003 after opening a massage therapy practice on the island. Originally from upstate New York, she came to Seattle 20 years ago to study massage and decided to stay.
“I felt fortunate a couple years later to find an apartment in Janet West’s home where I could be closer to the office and continue the work I love,” she said.
McNeil is a long-time resident of Bainbridge Island who is passionate about providing affordable and accessible housing for all.
The mission of the Housing Resources Board is to preserve the diversity and vitality of Bainbridge Island by providing and maintaining affordable housing opportunities in the community.
