Heavy ferry traffic expected for Thanksgiving

Making a long drive this Thanksgiving? Washington State Ferries advises travelers to plan for heavy traffic before and after the holiday. The longest lines are expected westbound the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, Nov. 23 and eastbound Friday morning, Nov. 25.

The Seattle/Bainbridge route will operate on its Saturday/Sunday/Holiday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 24. For details and wait times, check the WSF website at www.wsdot.wa.gov/ferries.
