When Kelsey Marshall, President of Grounds For Change coffee company addresses the Friday, Oct. 11 BASE (Building A Sustainable Economy) meeting at Bainbridge Public Library, he’ll reflect on the company’s Bainbridge beginnings.

“We started on the island, live on the island, serve the island, and hope to contribute to local, sustainability efforts on the island,” Marshall points out.

Now in Poulsbo, the company has since earned certification of the highest environmental and social standards and a ranking as one of the best social entrepreneurs in the world.
