Tickets for the Ales for Tails fundraising dinner and tasting event are on sale now, with all proceeds going to benefit the West Sound Wildlife Shelter.

The intimate social affair is scheduled for 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at IslandWood (4450 Blakely Ave. NE).

The meal will feature appetizers and four distinct courses, each accompanied by a unique beer from the Bainbridge Island Brewing Company. The beverages have been especially selected to complement the food choices.

The West Sound Wildlife Shelter provides injured, orphaned and sick wild animals a second chance at life and promotes the well-being of wildlife and their habitats through public outreach, education and involvement.
