The Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park &Recreation District will hold a special meeting on a proposed disc golf course at Battle Point Park.

The meeting, scheduled for 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Thursday, June 1 at the Bainbridge Island Aquatic Center, will include a presentation on the proposal to install an 18-hole disc golf course, followed by a period of public comment.

The board has not acted on the proposal and no board action will be taken at the upcoming meeting.

Board action on the proposal is anticipated at the regular board meeting on Thursday, June 15.
