Dawn McNamara’s ceramics are subject of BIMA’s First Saturday show

Dawn McNamara’s whimsical and lovely ceramic pieces will be the subject of the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art's July First Saturday Trunk Show from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11.

The Bainbridge Island Museum Store will offer an exceptionally fun First Saturday Trunk Show featuring Dawn McNamara’s whimsical and lovely ceramic pieces from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 11.

McNamara’s work includes teapots, candle holders, trays and small serving items featuring mostly fish and frog themes. She has been working with ceramic arts since 1986.

McNamara’s passion for combining thrown and hand built creations has continued to blossom since. She attended the 2005 Ceramic Art Conference and Exhibition in Yixing, China, and was invited to contribute one of her pieces to the museum’s permanent art collection.
