Mike Seidl and Debbie Ehrig of Bainbridge Island are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Alexa Lee Seidl, to Matthew Allen MacKinnon, son of Richard and Martha MacKinnon of Renton.

Alexa graduated from Bainbridge High School in 2006 and from the University of Washington in 2010 with a bachelor of arts degree in political science. She worked on Jay Inslee’s successful 2010 and 2012 campaigns, and spent the following two years working for Senator Patty Murray in Washington, D.C. She now works for start-up Blueprint Registry.

Matt is a 2006 graduate of Kentridge High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington, where he rowed for the National Championship crew team. He is a superintendent for Kiewit Infrastructure Construction.

They were married on Dec. 30, 2015 in Seattle. Together they live in Washington, D.C.
