The Bainbridge High boys varsity basketball team had their comeback win snatched away literally at the final buzzer in their first home court outing, and the Cleveland High Eagles snuck through a 58-55 win Friday in Paski Gymnasium.

The Spartans trailed for much of the contest before mounting a return late in the second half, leading to a climactic showdown in the final moments which tied up the score.

OT seemed inevitable, before the Eagles’ big three-pointer at the buzzer ended the night amid much shock and awe.
