The class of 2012 took their final steps through the halls of Bainbridge High School Friday; running steps, to be more accurate.

Running through the school’s hallways on the seniors’ final day of class is a tradition at the school, and the class of 2012 upheld it enthusiastically as they cheered and applauded as they rumbled past the classrooms of their fellow students.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, June 9, the high school will hold its graduation ceremony at its stadium.

This year’s senior class is one of the largest the school has produced — 340 students will walk away with a diploma on Saturday.

While Friday was the last day for seniors, the remaining freshmen through juniors still have one more week of classes before their summer break.
