Busy weekend in BI

Despite COVID-19 it was a busy Saturday on Bainbridge Island with people outside supporting various causes.

A Women’s March took place Saturday morning at Waypoint Park. The group was protesting the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.

In the early afternoon hundreds of bicyclists participating in the the Peace Peloton rode along Winslow Way. They were promoting Black-owned businesses in a Fall Foliage Fun-raiser.

A short-time later, supporters of President Trump came through with huge flags, honking all the way up Winslow Way. Similar car rallies supporting presidential challenger Joe Biden took place on recent weekends on the island.
