The Bainbridge Island Genealogical Society will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17 in the Bainbridge Public Library meeting room.

The meeting will combine the snowed-out “Show and Tell” meeting and the scheduled “Kicking off the New Year” discussion topic. Members will still be able to bring genealogical treasures and trinkets to share, and everyone will be invited to participate in a group discussion of goals and plans for pursuing our genealogical interests in the new year.

Society members note this meeting is a very good time to visit if you are interested in becoming a member; visit with members to find out what BIGS offers to those who join.

The suggested donation for non-members is $5.
