BHS alumna earns doctorate degree

Lauren Hibbs (Lutz), a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High, recently earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Washington, College of Education.

Lauren Hibbs (Lutz), a 2003 graduate of Bainbridge High, recently earned her doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Washington, College of Education.

Married to Ryan with two daughters, Reese, age 3, and Alexis, age 2, the new graduate currently serves as the director of professional development at Pacific Lutheran University.

Hibbs’ doctoral dissertation was titled, “Harnessing Emotions: The Critical Role of Emotional Intelligence for Community College Leaders.”

She earned her master’s degree in education administration at Montana State University – Billings and bachelor’s degree in psychology at Central Washington.

She is the daughter of Jay and Janet Webster, and the granddaughter of Cris Webster.
