Two students from Bainbridge Island have been named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University for the spring semester of the 2011-12 academic year.

Brooke Kaminer, the daughter of Kathryn Daniher and Jay Hart of Bainbridge Island and Larry Kaminer of Edmonds, earned the academic honor. She is a 2008 graduate of Bainbridge High School.

Jillian R. O’Mara, the daughter of Timothy and Laura O’Mara of Bainbridge Island and a 2008 graduate of Bainbridge High School, also earned dean’s list honors.

A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive the award.
