Bainbridge Island Municipal Court will be switching over the video conferencing and teleconferencing next month.
Hearings at the municipal court in Rolling Bay will use the new formats starting Monday, May 4.
City officials said litigants in upcoming cases will receive information by mail and email. Also, the public will able to observe court hearings through video and telephonic means, officials said.
Those who need information on how to attend by phone or video can contact the court clerk at 206-842-5641 or by email at court@bainbridgewa.gov.
Courthouse doors will remain closed to in-person appearances, officials said, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
