Bainbridge Pride Festival
This year’s Bainbridge Pride Festival will take place June 21 from noon-8 p.m. at Waterfront Park (301 Shannon Dr SE).
Enjoy live music and entertainment on the main stage, a 21+ beverage garden, a variety of food trucks, and a vibrant vendor village with local merchants, nonprofits, and community groups.
Admission is free.
Comp Plan open house
The Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District is updating its portion of the city’s Comprehensive Plan periodic update—a long-term roadmap for parks, trails, recreation programs, and facilities. As a separate agency, the park district leads this effort, per a news release.

New business location
The coworking space OfficeXpats will soon have a new home on Bainbridge Island.
Jason Omens and Leslie Schneider, owners and founders of OfficeXpats, announced the acquisition of the property located at 350 Madison Avenue N. The building is currently occupied by a tenant.
Set back in the trees on Madison Ave., the facility has 4,200 square feet on two floors. Some of the features include: a second-floor boardroom with access to a large south-facing deck, seven large private offices with floor-to-ceiling windows, two kitchenettes, a shower in one of three bathrooms, covered bicycle parking, and parking for vehicles, per a news release.
Tours of the new building will be scheduled each month this summer. The next tour will be the weekend of June 21/22. RSVP to info@officexpats.com. Private tours may also be given, as needed.
Deets office hours
Bainbridge Island Councilmember Joe Deets is having his office hours June 7 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at CUPS Espresso on 123 Bjune Drive SE in Winslow.
Everyone is welcome to come and meet with him to talk about city business.
