Meet Councilmember Deets

Bainbridge Island Councilmember Joe Deets is having his office hours May 10 from 10 a.m. to noon at CUPS Espresso on 123 Bjune Drive SE in Winslow.

Everyone is welcome to come and meet with him to talk about city business.

Nance town halls

Rep. Greg Nance (D-Kitsap) will host three town halls across Kitsap to share session updates, take suggestions from constituents, and answer questions about the work the legislature did this session to address a $12 billion budget gap.

Two town halls will be held May 10; the first at 10 a.m. at Bainbridge Island City Hall with Mayor Ashley Mathews, and the second taking place at 2 p.m. at the Village Green Community Center in Kingston with Kitsap Commissioner Christine Rolfes.

The last one will take place May 14 at 6 p.m. at the Silverdale Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue station on Newberry Hill with Kitsap Commissioner Katie Walters.
