Monday, June 3
11:42 p.m. A Crystal Springs resident called 911 when the alarm at his detached garage went off. Police found no one at the garage, or any signs of a burglary. The resident said that he never locked his garage door, though he usually locks an upstairs door in the garage. After a walk-through, it appeared that nothing was taken.
Tuesday, June 4
11:37 p.m. Someone discharged a fire extinguisher on the walkway of the ferry terminal. There were no signs of a fire.
Wednesday, June 5
6:22 p.m. A man crashed a van into a car while trying to change parking stalls at the Safeway on High School Road. The driver failed roadside sobriety tests. Portable breath tests indicated a blood alcohol level of .190. Later breath tests at the station indicated levels of .220 and .221. The driver was arrested for DUI.
