Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter:
Saturday, Sept. 13
3:29 p.m. Eight small nails were found in a truck tire after it was parked at the Wyatt House. The car owner said by the time he drove home the tire was flat.
The nails were linked by resin, which are typical of those that are used in a nail gun.
The car was taken to an auto mechanic but due to the number of nails the tire could not be repaired.
Wednesday, Sept. 10
