Bainbridge blotter | Feeling flat on Monday morning

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

MONDAY, JUNE 12

10:29 a.m. A Bainbridge Island woman called police to report her car had been vandalized while parked in a garage on Ravine Lane NE. Her front right tire was flat and one windshield wiper was missing. The woman called her auto club to change the tire, and the driver told her that the tire had been cut and that the lug nut was stripped.

Police examined the tire and did indeed find a small cut had punctured the wall of the tire. No other damage was apparent.

The woman said she had been the victim of similar attacks before, and already had a detective with Seattle police assigned to her case.

The garage had no security cameras.
