Monday, March 23

7:49 a.m. Police stopped a 29-year-old Poulsbo man who was driving 40 mph in a 25 mph zone on NE Hidden Cove Road.

Police found he had a suspended license.

He was cited for the suspended license, and warned about speeding.

The man called a friend for a ride and to retrieve his car.

9:50 a.m. A 55-year-old Bainbridge woman reported the theft of two pair of pants and a pair of sunglasses. The items were taken from a backpack left at Waterfront Park.

12:49 p.m. A woman on Meadowmeer Road brought a drone quad helicopter to the police station.

She said that she and her husband heard a noise at the front of their house about 1:30 a.m. and found the drone had crashed into the front porch and became wedged under some rocks. When the husband pulled the drone out and flipped it over, it tried to fly away. The man removed the batteries.

The drone had signs of moderate to heavy use.
